2009 Graduates Transition to Active ADHA Membership
Congratulations on your recent graduation! Once you’re a licensed registered dental hygienist, you qualify for active membership at no additional cost. As an active member, you’ll be able to explore your career options, increase your professional edge, and get discounts on professional items such as loupes, books, scrubs, car rentals and insurance, just to name a few. Remember: transition to active membership once you receive your license.

Summer Cycle Members
Reminder: You can log in to your member’s only account at http://www.adha.org to view your current membership status. Your ADHA membership renewal invoice for this summer is available online. You can access your account 24/7. Once logged in, click the pay my dues now tab to bring your membership current through 2009-2010.

New Addition to Your Online Membership Account Available!
We are proud to introduce a new addition to your online membership account. All members will now be able to view or print an online version of their current ADHA membership card. This can be accessed by logging in to your member’s only account by visiting http://www.adha.org/news/real.htm. Once inside, you will see an option for “Membership Card” on the left hand side. 

In order to be a member of Heartland Dental Hygienists’ Association (HDHA), you must first be a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) and Kentucky Dental Hygienists’ Association (KDHA). This is accomplished by filling out one application.  Click here to go to the online application form. Please note when filling out this application, your Constituent is KDHA, your Component is HDHA #11 (component fee is $5). 

HDHA covers Hardin, Meade, Grayson, Larue, Washington, Taylor, Breckenridge, Green, Marion, and Nelson counties in Kentucky.  Most of our Continuing Education Meetings are held in Elizabethtown, KY.  Members of HDHA receive discounts to our CE meetings, thus helping to offset the costs of Membership. 

Why become a Member?  Membership has its privileges. It is a strong personal commitment to the dental hygiene profession.  Members enjoy professional support, educational programs, and numerous opportunities to participate in association decision making and leadership.  Through membership, you have access to resourceful information, you can make contributions to your community’s oral health standards, and you will help secure the future for dental hygiene.  You have the opportunity to form new friendships and develop professional contacts.  You have the opportunity to become part of the largest organization representing the dental hygiene profession.  Remember, only through a UNITED EFFORT can dental hygienists effectively promote their profession.

*As an ADHA member, you are entitled to apply for auto insurance at a discounted rate.

*Members may apply for the ADHA credit card/mileage program allowing you to earn points towards travel with every purchase you make.

*Keeping up to date with the latest titles in dental hygiene is easier with discounted prices at ADHA’s online bookstore.

*ADHA makes it easy for members to take advantage of rest and relaxation with discounts on hotel rates at over 4,000 hotels across the nation.

*Discounts for membership given at HDHA component Continuing Education courses.
